EMENINT ARRIVES AT BRIGHTHILL FARM

The wait is over at Brighthill Farm with the arrival of their son of Frankel in Eminent. Having completed his quarantine he stepped off the truck on Saturday morning and has settled in nicely to his new environment. " He is a lovely horse, well travelled and with a great temperament we are delighted to have him here on the farm. He is an impressive individual and moves beautifully when he walks” said farm owner Nick King.

Eminent has had only a few parades so far as he is allowed some time to settle in but waiting for him this morning were the Australian camera’s  of the hugely popular Bred To Win show and it’s host Caroline Searcy. “The interest with such a well preformed and the first son of Frankel was always going to be big and it certainly has been. We plan an open day towards the middle of August to show him off and the he will start a busy year breeding mares for the shareholders and breeders from there on” said King.

Eminent has attracted a very exciting group of breeders as shareholders which will enhance his stud career. Among the group is of course his major Nz owner in Sir Peter Vela with his exceptional broodmare band at Pencarrow Stud. Beyond Sir Peter are the likes of Cambridge Stud, Windsor Park, Haunui Farm Vilachi Downs, Vermair Racing, Raffles Farm, Mapperly Stud and Hallmark Stud to name but a few. All this support looks set to give Eminent a great start at stud.
