Snap produces special Christmas present!
23 Dec 2011

On a beautiful Waikato evening at Brighthill Farm, Snap Champion 3YO and NZ Filly of the Year produced a beautiful, much anticipated bay filly by Tavistock.

Resident mare Snap (Kingdom Bay - Crackle)  was a champion race mare of her day, and was the first filly to be raced in New Zealand by The Duchess of Bedford and her late husband The Duke, Robin.  Snap was trained by master trainer Dave O'Sullivan and ridden to victory by Champion jockey Lance O'Sullivan.

"It's absolutely the best Christmas present I could ever have" reports her owner The Duchess of Bedford.

The Duchess' reaction is easy to understand since she bred the sire Tavistock which represents combining her family Mrs Moss Family with her great racemare Snap.

Also a bonus to have a filly since Snap at 21, is now reaching the end of her stud career...
