A Unique Leap Day Surprise
14 Mar 2012

Much to the excitement of us all, Pleasantly Made delivered a beautiful Chestnut filly by Eagle Mountain at lunchtime today, all very civalised and in glorious sunshine.  The filly is such a character and so friendly, quite like just having one mare foal at a time...!

Pleasantly Made was one of the mares bred to Eagle Mountain Northern Hemisphere time, as part of his fertility testing programme. She wasn't due until the end of March, which makes it even a bigger surprise to have such a healthy bonny foal.

Pleasantly Made (USA) by St. Jovite from Listed Winner Made Glorious, was a 2YO placegetter in USA   She is the dam of multiple racewinner Noosa Blue & Nicholas both by Ustinov and exciting 2YO trial winner and race placegetter Little Drummer Boy by Patapan.
