Ryan Moore rides Epsom Oaks fancy Liber Nauticus to Victory in the Tattersalls Musidora Stakes Group 3 at York
The Sir Michael Stoute-trained three-year-old filly by Azamour, Liber Nauticus (ex Serres by Daylami) was an impressive one-and-a-half-length winner of the Group Three Tattersalls Musidora Stakes at York yesterday.
The lightly raced filly was having her second race day start and is now one of the favorites for the Investec Oaks Group One at Epsom on the 31 May.
Liber Nauticus unbeaten from two starts, becomes Azamour’s 15th individual stakes winner including the French Oaks Group One winner Valyra, and four further stakes winners who have also been Group One placed.
With his 23 stakes horses coming from an impressive 105 winners Azamour has proved to have the ability to leave top class European racehorses.
Azamour will take up residence at Brighthill Farm at the beginning of August for his first southern hemisphere breeding season and will stand at a fee of $12,000 + gst.
